Standing Sho-Kannon Bosatsu, the left hand holding a long-stemmed lotus bed and the right hand forming the semu-in mudra of fearlessness, sculpted in relief from a salmon-hued granite. Dated on the right-hand lateral surface to the third year of the Enpo Era (1675), early-Edo Period. Minor surface loss, with overall softening of the lines and contours. Light lichen accumulation.

Monumental and rare this vintage sterling silver & amethyst bracelet was designed and signed circa 1930's by Mexico artist Frederick Davis (1880-1961). The bracelet measures 1 3/4" wide X 7" long. A pine needle pattern Tiffany Studios large round inkwell. The inkwell is 6 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches high. The base of the inkwell is marked “Tiffany Studios New York” and is model number 847. The green slag glass has the darkest color I have seen in any of the Tiffany Studios etched metal and glass forms. There is a colorless inkwell insert in the inkwell and there is no damage to this piece.
