Seated 11-Headed Kannon Bosatsu, yosegi-zukuri joined-block wooden construction, the eyes of inset crystal, with remnants of lacquer and gilt. Kamakura Period ca. 1300. Two of the small kebutsu heads are missing on the back of the figure's head, and a wood-block comprising the figure's upper right leg has been replaced, as has the figure's left hand and accompanying accoutrement. The lotus-form dais and plinth are not original to the piece, but the dimensional correspondence is excellent.
