American Art Nouveau glass decanter with silver overlay, ca 1900. Tapering quadrilateral bowl with cut bead-and-real corners, and faceted shoulder and upward tapering neck. Mouth same in silver collar. Bowl overlay in form of entwined and pell-mell wheat stalks; at bottom stop fluting overlaid on front with lozenge frame with “Rye” in open letters and on back another lozenge frame (vacant). Silver marked “Sterling” and numbered “320”. Very good condition.
