Sterling silver neck collar with imbricated leaf borders. Hinged bun cover same; top has chased garland, ribbon, crisscrossing horns of plenty, and laurel wreath surmounted by crown engraved with interlaced script monogram. Leaves and tendrils and butterflies, too, applied to honeycomb hand-hammered ground. Bonus bug (a modish beetle) on cover. Interior glass lined. Fully marked including pattern no. 6771 (first produced in 1882), director’s letter M (1873-91), and phrase “Sterling-Silver”. Excellent condition and patina.

Cover hinged and domed with bud finial and plain and scrolled overhanging rim. Foot rim and supports applied with alternating flower head and leaf pattern. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11133, and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition with nice toning.
