George III sterling silver tureen. Made by Henry Greenway in London in 1778. Ovoid bowl with reeded high-looping leaf-mounted and -wrapped end handles; raised oval foot. Cover domed with large vasiform finial. Beading. Bowl and cover each have bird standing guard on rocks; below a ribbon with French word “Le Corbeau” (that is, the crow). Bowl armorial in drapery surround. Stylish Georgian Neoclassicism. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Victorian Classical sterling silver bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Solid oval well with chased scalloped border. Sides tapering open diaper and applied pendant flowers.
