Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau 800 silver and malachite centerpiece bowl. Made by Bruckmann & Söhne in Germany. Shallow bowl with curved sides and wavy rim. Sides exterior have cabochon malachite medallions alternating with plain silver ones. Bowl center has open ball-topped baluster. Bowl rests on four tapering columns with round solid base. Chased fluid leafy scrollwork, as well as leaf-and-dart border on base. An exuberant show-stopper. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Two pairs of German 800 silver 2-light candelabra. Made by M. H. Wilkens & Söhne in Germany, ca 1890. Each: tapering pillar on raised foot with spread c-scroll supports. Garland-entwined figure mounted to pillar top. On two, a bosomy, drapery-clad caryatid; on other two, a naked atlantes. Soft youthful flesh that contrasts with the statuary pillar. Each figure holds a stem with two open and scrolled branches terminating in single socket. Fluid and dynamic Art Nouveau mixed with frothy Rococo. ...
Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver compotes. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1915. Round and shallow bowl on upward tapering shaft flowing into raised foot. Well center solid with engraved leaves and tendrils surrounded by pierced interlaced scroll and leaf pattern heightened with engraving. Rim has molded c-scrolls interspersed with scallop shells. Art Nouveau sterling silver trophy cup. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Urn on tall and spread foot; double-scroll side handles. Chased semi-abstract tendrils terminating in volute scrolls, garlands, and pendant flowers. A fluid, slightly hallucinatory take on traditional ornament. Gilt-washed interior. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 8637, director’s letter T (1892-1902), and volume (3 pints). Excellent condition.
