PAPER MEASURE
Quite a rare old Korean measuring tape made of tightly braided paper, early 20th century, approx. D 21 x 3.5cm (8.26 x 1.37in).
Since with no scale, measuring the length of starting point and end point itself becomes a unit of its length. Ringed and forked tip at each end for tieing it up together efficiently and aesthetically as well when coiled up. Some discoloring due to aging as is.

This attractive porcelain dish, or shallow bowl, was made during the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1127 - 1279). It is coated in a finely-crackled pale greenish translucent qingbai glaze, save for the rim and flat base that remain intentionally unglazed. To the small flat base is a Chinese character in fired-on black pigment that most likely represents a name.

Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period rectangular form porcelain plaque painted in famille rose enamels and gilt highlights with a crane on a pine branch above thick leafy flowers. A poem at the upper left is dated in Chinese cycle years to winter of 1902 and signed Jiang Yongyuan (active circa 1899-1919) at Zhushan, a district of Jingdezhen.
