A Chinese jade libation cup of pale green hue with a flash of russet, carved in the shape of a peach and standing on a five petal support. The outside has scrolling foliage and the handle is formed as a flower spray with a flat reticulated top surface. An excellent example of 16/17 century lapidary art and in excellent condition. It comes with its own custom made wooden stand. size: 10 cm long

This is an extremely rare set of master die or Hobs used to create the dies for striking a coin to commemorate the Apollo 8 mission. These are from 1968 and are in good condition. One side has the seal of the United States of America while the other side has the names and busts of the astronauts, Anders, Borman and Lovell. Japanese Sake cup - Hagi ware with box - Beautiful blue glaze work of Seigan Yamane. The cup has the maker's signature mark stamped on the bottom. Height: 2.0" (5 cm). Diameter: aprox 2.5" (6.5 cm). Condition: The cup has a chip in the edge cover by the glaze, apparently made during the manufacturing process (please, see photos).

Late 1800s

Shallow form with brilliant turquoise color. The cavetto is molded with thirty-two chrysanthemum petal-form flutes that appear convex on the back-side of the dish and encircle the flattened base. A “China” mark is needle-incised on the base. Very good condition. Acquired 25 years ago in North Carolina from an estate that was involved with the tobacco trade in China. It is rare for a large, delicate flat-rimmed dish, such as this one, to survive without damage.

Chinese Qing dynasty Tongzhi mark and period (1862-1874) cylindrical food container decorated around the circumference with four overglaze iron-red five-clawed dragons in profile above a band of underglaze blue waves. A square Chinese cloisonne enamel gau box with four arched apertures and gold gilt strap loops for personal carrying. Richly decorated on a yellow ground with designs of formal lotus and foliage, the top side panel has a dark blue fylfot. The back panel, with the large red Shou-type character, slides up to open. Made for the Tibetan market, this dates early to mid 19th century, but could possibly be late 18th. Measures 3.35 inches high, 3" across, 1" deep.

Circa 1756, sterling silver French snuff box featuring a man's profile with initials. The bottom has an embossed farming scene with the sides having various vignettes including a hunter and a shepherdess. In very good condition commensurate with age, there is a small separation on the lid, see last photo. Measures 2.75" x 2" x 1" high. Hallmarked.

From France, gorgeous 1980s French clip earrings in cast goldtone metal with long strands of wired faceted glass beads in jewel colors with matching brilliant rhinestones set in the tops, in the moghul style. Late Qing hand carved turquoise snuff bottle with bok choy and radish along with an ant, cicada, grasshopper and cricket. The workmanship and details is superbly done including the insects, having very fine details to the legs, antennae and bodies. A Chinese silver goblet of monumental size and magnificent craftsmanship, the cup with a diameter of 12.8 cm is chased and embossed with a continuous scene of numerous foot soldiers, warriors on horesback and courtiers in pavilions- all against a dense background of trees, mountains and pagodas. The stem is applied with finely cast dragons, showing minute details of face and skin.
