Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Bowl - 16th C. Crane

This unusual blue & white porcelain bowl was made during the mid to late 16th century c.1560-1580. The outer surface remains undecorated whereas the inner surface is particularly elaborately decorated. In the centre is a standing bird, most likely a crane (a symbol of longevity), together with various plants and blossoms. The surrounding wall is decorated with a pattern featuring lotus leaf panels and tassels.

19C Chinese Imperial Famille Rose Porcelain Snuff Bottle Xianfeng Mark and Period The bottle is decorated with medallions of various floral, foliate and geometric designs. The base is inscribed with a four-character seal mark. Xianfeng seal mark and of the period. It comes with a silver stopper with turquoise adornment. Size: 6.8 cm tall, 5.3 cm wide, 3 cm thick. Webb satin finish peachblow rose bowl, 3 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall. The bowl is cased in white with the exterior shaded from dark red at the top to a yellowish red at the bottom. The rim is crimped and edged in gold. The body of the rose bowl is decorated with gold prunus and a butterfly. There is a ground and polished pontil mark.
