Well crafted Chinese famille rose mandarin enameled porcelain bowl ca.1770's. Size, diameter: Diameter of bow is about 8 inches or 19.5 x height: 8.5 cm. Decorated with maidens, court figures and birds. Condition Report; Hardly visible hairline to the interior of the bowl, slight rubbing on paintings. Provenance: Private collector, Portugal. Wood base excluded.

A fine Chinese snuff bottle made from Carnelian, well hollowed. One side carved in relief with a bird on a rock beneath a bat, the backside engraved with a ruyi scepter. The stopper is made from white jadeit with a green spot and a bone spoon. Condition: the stopper eventually not original, traces of usage. Dimension: c. 6.2 cm high.

Large Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period porcelain jar decorated in famille verte enamels with two central panels on opposing sides. One panel features a veranda with a woman kneeling before an official and his attendant. The opposing panel depicts beauties and children in a garden setting. A rare 18th/19th Century carved agate snuff bottle with, possibly later, silver and rose quartz stopper. On the stopper is inscribed the Shanghai silversmiths "Wen Yuan" who are recorded as having traded from the Jiaqing (1796-1820) reign through until the Republic period (1912- 1949). Condition - excellent - there is a shallow chip on top, next to the mouth (please view enlargement 11) no further damages and no restoration. 5cm (2inches) high; 4.8cm (1.9 inches) wide.

Early 1900s turquoise snuff bottle with a landscape scene having carved openwork and just loads of things going on. A very fine colored turquoise with a wonderful surface polish. Late 19c Chinese Blackwood or possibly Zitan wood brush pot in the classic style with smooth sides and a raised ring at mouth and bottom having 3 low standing low profile feet with drain hole in center bottom of pot.
