A pair of 19th C Dresden porcelain wall brackets. Each is highly decorated with hand painted applied flowers. In excellent antique condition, the brackets both bear underglaze blue maker's marks for the Sitzendorf factory. Measures 7 inches high, 6.75" wide, 3 3/8" deep. Circa 1880.

The flower vase is heavily moulded with a leaping Chinese Lion or karashishi in a landscape of rocks and Tree Peonies, a classic subject in Japanese art known as “Botan-ni-Shishi”, an auspicious subject.
