Beautiful small wooden jizai, or pothook. This type is called Daikoku, after the shape of Daikoku’s hat. These hangers were suspended with a rope from a heavy beam, over the sunken hearth. From the hanger an adjustable hook was hung that held the kettle. Good piece of mingei.

A small antique blue and white porcelain Chinese tea pot dating to the middle of the 19th Century. The design on the pot is of blue vines and peony flowers. A small Japanese mimikuchi shaped vase, with spiral design, used to hold the burn incense sticks. The burner is about 3 7/8" tall x 4" in diameter and dates to the turn of the Century. The condition is excellent/perfect, and it has been polished. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.
This old Japanese Noh theater mask has the expressive face of an old man. The mask is carved from paulownia wood and dates to middle Edo period, around 1750. The patina is wonderful.

19TH century large Japanese Kutani basket shape vase on four feet.
Two nicely decorated panels, one with people in an outdoors setting and the other side scene with bushes, flowers and a bird standing on a branch.
measuring approximately: 12&1/2 inches, 32 centimeters
-Tall. And 12 inches, 30 centimeters - wide.
There is a Kutani mark in the inner handle.
This Kutani vase is in very good condition, no damages and no repairs.
