A profusion of chrysanthemums on rim and supports. Well has gilt wash and engraved script monogram. Fine specimens of the Japonesque pattern in a rare small size. Hallmark includes pattern no. 10747 and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition.

At top a dense repousse frieze of love-making, harp-stumming nymphs, gods, and cherubs. Foot rim has rinceaux border.
