Antique Chinese porcelain cricket cage of a gourd form. Its lid has reticulated air vents, enamel peonies and Chinese characters and gilt edge details. The cage front has enamel scene of a young boy and girl having tea in a field of flowers, with an inscription on the backside. Red four character mark on base.

Chinese export silver bowl, ca 1890. Round with curved sides. Four lobed frames with chased ornament on stippled ground: Blossoming branches, flowers, tail-chasing dragon, and mountain landscape with men standing in foreground on balustraded terrace. Open blossoming branch foot ring. Chinese mark and stamp for Wang Hing, a Canton and Hong Kong silversmith and retailer, who was active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Very good condition.

Turn-of-the-century Chinese export silver picture frame. Oval window in shaped surround with scrolls and flower heads at top, and leaves, stars, flowers, and heart cartouche vacant on stippled ground at bottom. With glass, silk lining, velvet back, and hinged easel silver wire support. Marked “Sterling”. Very good condition with deep patina.

Modern sterling silver picture frame. Made by Lebkuecher & Co. in Newark, ca 1950. Rectangular window in flat surround with wraparound engine-turned lines and applied rectangular plate (vacant) at top; sides plain. With glass, silk lining, and particle board and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Marks include maker’s stamp, phrase “Hand Made”, and no. 3002MM. Very good condition.
