Tiffany Studios etched metal and glass inkwell in the pine needle pattern with green slag glass. The inkwell is model 845 measuring 3 1/4 inches on a side and 3 inches tall. There is a clear glass inkwell insert. The inkwell is marked “Tiffany Studios New York 845.” There is no damage to the bronze or glass on this inkwell.
Japanese Edo period woodblock print titled “Nihonbashi” (#1) from the bijin version of the series "Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido" (Fujikei Tokaido) by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) published by Fujiokaya Keijiro between 1849 and 1853. Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print depicting a bust portrait of an apprentice geisha (maiko) in profile with a prominent wood grain background by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997). The artist's black ink signature and red seal are at the lower left portion of the image. Circa 1960's. Unlimited edition. Paper size: 17 1/4" x 11 1/2" (image: 15 3/8" x 10 1/8"). Very good impression quality with lacquer and mica highlights.
