The openwork sterling silver frame centers a large carved and prong-set carnelian Face - entirely handmade and extra large format that makes a statement when worn! This exceptional bracelet by Antonio Pineda has a unique design and was created during a brief period when he was in a collaboration with the taller Los Castillo to jointly produce jewelry (1962-1963). This unique and rare Bracelet by Hector Aguilar is featured in the book Silver Masters of Mexico on page 40, plateI-55 and is known as the "Chain with Dome" bracelet. Measures 8 1/2" long with the chain portion measuring 3/4" wide. The dome section functions as the clasp and measures 1 1/4" wide. Hallmarked with the joined HA, Made in Mexico, Sterling. Very nice condition with no damage noted. An wonderful bracelet by this important Taxco master.
