This is a lovely 15 karat gold stickpin mounted with a circular intaglio carved cameo. This handsome intaglio pin depicts a woman's head in profile and is a rich reddish-brown color. It is mounted in a delicate gold setting that forms a plain border with small ball attachments and has an attached gold pin that has been partially twisted.

Interior also silver with visible handwork. Underside engraved with script monogram. Fully marked including pattern no. 5621 (first produced in 1879), director’s letter M (1873-1891), and phrase “Sterling Silver / -and- / Other Metals”. Very good.
