This is a beautiful Victorian crescent moon brooch hallmarked 15k carat gold in Chester in 1901.
The moon is set with a lovely blue sapphire and decorated with ornate gold patterns in the shape of a branch. This Hobe Victorian Austro Hungarian emerald enamel pearl brooch is brass with substantial weight and feel. It is 2 1/4" square and 3/4" deep at the thickest point in the center.
