Beautiful Meiji-era shakudo locket with rose gold mount and chain. Locket is rectangular and hinged with gold and silver applied to shakudo ground. (Shakudo is a lacquer-shaded alloy.) Cranes and lilies are on one side. On other is fantasy scene with parasol-holding frog drawn in rickshaw by another frog. Locket has hinged bracket mount and ring bale threaded with chain. Beautiful 18K rose gold and diamond brooch, ca 1880. A scallop shell inlaid with 175 rose-cut diamonds. Overhanging “valve” terminates in volute scrolls and is bisected with raised band of 10 inlaid rose-cut diamonds with a brown diamond drop. Excellent condition.

An Antique early Victorian Silver topped gold figural flower pendant set with a multitude of rose cut diamonds that highlight every flower and leaf. This silver topped gold design was the custom for much of the diamond jewelry produced in this era.

Very unusual 19th century Japanese multimetal chain with links shaped as chrysanthemum flowers. Links are bearing 4 different patinas: shakudo, copper, silver and gold. Definitely made by a metalsmith who was engaged in making sword parts such as menuki and fuchi / kashira. Very clever design, superb detailing, silver clasp marked 925, in excellent condition. Fits nicely around a neck, total length when stretched 21 3/4 inches.
A striking 14K Gold Three Tiered Chain Necklace featuring Oval shaped Semi Precious Stones of varying sizes. These stones include Chrysophase, Citrine, Moonstone & Amethyst.
