A Chinese mutton fat nephrite jade pendant or toggle of Budai measuring about 2 1/2" long and weighing 86g. While primarily white in color, the jade has a few random russet sections on the side and rear, and evinces under strong light a faint subtle green tint. This Hobe Victorian Austro Hungarian emerald enamel pearl brooch is brass with substantial weight and feel. It is 2 1/4" square and 3/4" deep at the thickest point in the center.

This item is special for the detail to the Austro Hungarian design.. The openwork setting is raised at the center of the brooch and is accented with colorful enamel, emeralds and garnet glass cabochons as well as pearls. This brooch is very detailed and beautifully designed. This brooch is circa 1940.

A finely carved Chinese jade recumbent pig in a nearly uniform spinach green color with a particularly expressive face indicating most likely a 20th C. origin. The details in the mouth, tongue, teeth, hooves, and ears are very fine. Mass is 365.6 grams, 3 3/4" l, specific gravity 2.90-2.93, and impervious to steel blades, indicative of nephrite jade.
