For sale here is an ORIGINAL vintage 1940s 50s signed numbered and titled etching in a very ornate antique gilt wood frame. The subject of the etching looks to be a town square in Europe. The etching is marked in pencil at bottom as shown. The signature looks like "E. Hesse", and it's numbered 43 out of 800 (an early copy), but I can't make out the title/description part, although it looks to be a name of a location. Either from Germany or Austria, I'd guess. The outside of the frame measures 12...
Here is a rare complete set of nine lithograph/prints including one of Senator McGovern during his presidential run that year as well as eight others signifying campaign issues.The content page lists the artists with a small box picture of their work/issues.
