A reticulated sterling silver pendant of geometric elements and elongated bale, suspended from an .830 silver chain. Both bear the marks of H.C. Østrem of Drammen; it's very unusual to find a pendant by this maker with its original chain. The script maker's mark also is not often seen. This wonderful statement pin was designed by contemporary designer jeweler, Iradj Moini. It measures 2 7/8" long x 2 3/8" wide and the setting is handcrafted from antiqued brass. It has a tiger eye stone center with faux included sapphires and faux baroque pearls on the border. One of the pearls has some nacre loss on the reverse, but it does not read on the front. Other than that, the pin is in very good condition and is signed "Iradj Moini" on an applied plaque.
