The Guacho of Argentina, the Morochucos of Peru and the Hauso of Chile all preferred large wooden "shoes" for use as stirrups rather than the more prevalent iron stirrup. A wood water basin was nicely carved in shape of a lotus leaf with a lotus pond.
It was preserved in very good condition by nice brownish patina.
Some of the seeds in the lotus pond were still movable when some were sticked but nothing is missing.

This is a very old Whitby Jet bracelet with a center set with a carved shell cameo. The links are shiny and square, and the bracelet unstretched measures between 6 1/4" and 6 1/2". I have a six inch wrist and it is a bit too large for me. The square links are 5/8".
The top link has an oval jet piece 1"x3/4" and it is set with a shell cameo depicting a lovely Victorian lady. The bracelet is in good vintage condition, with no problems.

This old Japanese Noh theater mask has the expressive face of an old man. The mask is carved from paulownia wood and dates to middle Edo period, around 1750. The patina is wonderful.
