This gorgeous necklace was made by contemporary New York designer jeweler, Stephen Dweck. It measures 26" long and drapes down approximately 3 1/2" in front. The metal is antique bronze and it has a variety of carved stones including tiger eye, citrine, and agate. It is not signed, like many Dweck pieces I've seen during my employment at Neiman Marcus. A vintage modernist silver necklace with a large central pendant by the master sculptor and artist from Ecuador, Oswaldo Guayasamin. The central pendant measures 2 3/4" long and 3/4" wide. Also measures 3/4" deep. The pendant has a textured front surface and polished sides and back. The pendant has an additional silver squiggle with what looks like onyx beads suspended in front of the textured surface. It moves independently.

TABI PAPER PATTERNS

Eleven three-piece sets and six individual pieces of both of thick (coated in 'kakishibu' persimmon tannin) and thin paper patterns of 'tabi' (Japanese socks) used by a tabi artisan in early 20th century, Japan. Some paper re-used for the mold are from Edo period (1603-1868). Large: approx. 28cm (11.02in). Some damage due to aging as is.

A fine Maya cylinder from El Salvador, ca. 400 - 700 AD. It is 6-3/4 inches high, 5 inches in diameter and features four panels with deeply carved linear designs. The broad rim band retains remains of creatures painted in blue over the red stucco, with the vertical stucco columns between the black panels also showing remnants of designs. There is an old field repair, else it’s in good condition, with heavy mineral deposits and much of the rare red and blue stucco remaining.
