Mirror has round scalloped frame and the brush has shaped oval frame. Embossed ornament with chubby, naked cherubs frolicking with a dolphin (mirror) and holding overhead a fruit basket (brush). Scroll and flower borders with masks. Frothy and frivolous. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and nos. C475 (mirror) and C1502 (brush). Very good condition.

On cover top is engraved the coat of arms of the Honourable Artillery Company, which is the oldest regiment in the British army. Cedar-lined and partitioned interior; underside leather lined. Fully marked. Very good condition.
