Vintage lithographed tin Halloween pan noisemaker, decorated in green, black, white and orange. The decorations include a witch, a ghost and a skeleton around a cauldron. The edges are decorated with jack o'lanterns, owls, bats and black cats. Marked "US Metal Toy Mfg. Co. Made In U.S.A." Very nice condition, some scratching where metal clappers hit against pan, very light rust on the unpainted clappers. Circa 1940s. 7-7/8" long.

Pretty vintage Halloween postcard showing a young couple, he dressed as a Pilgrim and she dressed as a Victorian lady, walking along a scary path through the woods. They have just startled a black cat while a pair of witches look on from the background. The card has nice colors. The two lower corners have some creasing, sharp edges. The back is postmarked 1910.

A Pforzheim Germany plique-a-jour enamel Arts and Crafts necklace from the 1910 era. This stunning survivor from the Edwardian era was made in the Pforsheim area of Germany which was the center of such items. Plique-a-jour (French: "Light of Day") refers to the labour-intensive technique of repeatedly firing enamel in metal-bordered cells resembling cloisonne, resulting in unbacked transluscent panels. A pine needle pattern Tiffany Studios large round inkwell. The inkwell is 6 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches high. The base of the inkwell is marked “Tiffany Studios New York” and is model number 847. The green slag glass has the darkest color I have seen in any of the Tiffany Studios etched metal and glass forms. There is a colorless inkwell insert in the inkwell and there is no damage to this piece.
Large Artist's Proof of Munjado Calligraphy by the Famous Kim Ki Chang aka Unbo (1913 - 2001). Despite being deaf, Unbo was one of Korea's most beloved 20th Century artists. His works are now sought by museums and collectors internationally. This is the original signed AP (Artist's Proof) of this large lithograph, where Unbo gives us a most creative rendering with anthropomorphic figures in the ancient style of figurative munjado calligraphy. 38.5 x 28.5 inches, 98 x 72.5 cm.
Before styles such as Raku, Hagi, Karatsu, etc came into fashion for use in the tearoom in early Edo, it was commonplace in cultured society to use tea-ware imported from China.
