This is a wonderful vintage unsigned August Bonaz penguin pin. The original art deco pin is black galalith (French Bakelite) with gold and silver paint and inset crystal rhinestones on the penguin's tummy. He is 2-3/4" tall and has a French trombone style pin back. This was purchased in Paris after the discovery of a collection of old Bonaz stock, never used, was discovered. This extremely exciting and entertaining piece is circa 1970s. It is slightly convex. The back is marked with the eagle number 20, STERLING. It is also marked HECHO EN MEXICO DF, 925 and a maker's mark that resembles conjoined letters - see pictures. The pin / brooch has a diameter of 1 5/8". This is quite an unusual piece, has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This is a very special example of Japanese Cloisonne. The workmanship and elegant form are what makes this piece so special. This vase was acquired from one of the world's greatest cloisonne collections. It measures 12 inches tall.
