Offered is this extremely RARE 1920's, cardboard, D.L. Clark Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 120 count, BLACK JACK Caramel "PENNY CANDY" BOX which features a singing Black Dandy strumming a banjo.

Cardboard candy boxes with black themes remain EXTREMELY RARE finds in today's market!!!

The piece is in very fine condition with expected edge and corner wear. The top left seam of the cover has split but otherwise, the box remains intact with no missing pieces.

A very rare black cut to clear Steuben sherbet in the “Poussin” pattern. This Carder era sherbet is signed on the underside of the foot with the Steuben fleur de lys banner mark and is shape 7181. The sherbet is 2 3/4 inches tall and is 4 5/8 inches in diameter at the top. There is no damage.

A lovely Nicoya figure from Costa Rica, ca. 300 BC – 300 AD. This rare Chaco Black on Red example is 5-3/4” high and depicts a female, seated with legs crossed and hands holding the belly. She is adorned with a segmented appliqué necklace and the characteristic body décor encircling the breasts, on the shoulders and face. The spine is protruding along the back. Vintage lithographed tin Halloween pan noisemaker, decorated in green, black, white and orange. The decorations include a witch, a ghost and a skeleton around a cauldron. The edges are decorated with jack o'lanterns, owls, bats and black cats. Marked "US Metal Toy Mfg. Co. Made In U.S.A." A rare finely carved cylindrical bamboo incense box depicting Scholars amongst rocks and pine trees in a mountain landscape. This item was made in China in the late Qing period - the characters carved into the top read "Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi" which translates as "Made in the Guangxu reign Qing dynasty" (1875-1908). Condition - one 2cm age related crack at the top - otherwise excellent with no damages or losses and no repairs or restoration. 22.7cm (8.8inches) high.
