Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. This is the Large size Stippled Band set and includes 4 cups & saucers, 4 plates, teapot & lid, creamer, and sugar & lid. The sugar lid is the rare dome - shaped style. A pair of large droplet shaped pendant lamps in cool green and blue murrines that resemble cells. Most likely an Ermanno Toso design from around 1960. Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Painted Pottery Dragon

This very rare and unusual pottery model of a seated dragon was made during the 13th - 14th centuries, during either the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or the following Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368), and comes from Yunnan province. It is made from a grey pottery and is finely-detailed. It has been cold-painted with base coat of a creamy-white pigment with faint traces remaining of orange and red pigments on top.

A lovely signed "Hand Made in Greece Ikaros Pottery B420" with a small 4 at the bottom. In excellent condition though the rim has a slight imperfection original to the piece that is not noticeable except to the touch. The piece measures 8" (h) x 7" (w).
