A signed Libbey Nash “Morning Glory” short candlesticks, shape K-521. This example is purple with white opalescent vertical stripes on a colorless base glass. The 3 5/8 inch tall candlestick is 5 inches in diameter at the top and the foot is 4 1/4 inches in diameter. It is shown on page 30-E of the 1933 Libbey Nash . The candlestick has a ground and polished pontil and is signed with the Libbey circle mark.

It is made from a fine-grained grey pottery and quite highly-fired, both box and cover having a distinct ring when tapped. Four strips rise from each side of the shoulder and are twisted together to form the high loop handle. Round mouth and base. 18” high with handle (9 1/4" high excluding handle); about 10” diameter.
