Vandermark artglass is contemporary glass made in the style of art nouveau. This piece was made in 1981 in June. It is marked "1981-6", signed by the artist and numbered 0455. It measures 9.75" across the top and is 3.5" deep. This piece of stretchglass is in excellent condition. There is a pontil mark on the center of the base (normal).

This is a 10-1/2" x 8-1/2" ball-footed swing-handle serving basket fully hallmarked for Sheffield, England 1895-6. Made by James Dixon & Sons, this basket has ornate repousse decoration in the bowl as well as attractive design to the ornate handle. A signed Libbey Nash “Morning Glory” short candlesticks, shape K-521. This example is purple with white opalescent vertical stripes on a colorless base glass. The 3 5/8 inch tall candlestick is 5 inches in diameter at the top and the foot is 4 1/4 inches in diameter. It is shown on page 30-E of the 1933 Libbey Nash . Chinese miniature porcelain tea caddy with gold decoration. All the gold painting is intact and shows no wear which is pretty amazing. Dates mid to late 1700's, it is a fantastic little piece for the collector. In excellent condition, that is as originally made, the only imperfections are little pin pricks in the firing which is normal. This had a cork stopper which is inside the caddy. Measures 3" high x 2" wide x 1/2". Dates 2nd half 1700's.

A rarely seen 9 inch oval bowl by Libbey-Nash. The bowl is 3 ½ inches tall and 6 1/4 inches from front to back. The bowl is colorless glass with green decoration and is identified as shape K530 on page 22-E of the 1933 Libbey-Nash catalog. The bowl is signed with the Libbey circle mark on the polished pontil.

Rare TALL Chinese Liao Dynasty Stoneware Jar (AD 907 - 1125)

This rare stoneware jar was made during the Liao Dynasty (AD 907 - 1125). It is particularly "heavily-potted" and coated with a thick and uneven olive-green glaze, both inside and out. In places the glaze has not vitrified properly leaving a matt appearance. The mouth has sagged a little to one side during firing.
