Japanese mid-century sosaku hanga woodblock print depicting a horse in a stable by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997). Signed in black ink at the lower left and with the artist's red seal above. A beautiful in color, our "Queen Ann" turquoise paste necklace is set in silver and crafted of an unusual turquoise paste. Though dating to the mid 18th century, this style of jewelry was named for Queen Ann, who reigned during an earlier time, 1695 to 1714. The vivid foiled paste stones are faceted as cushion cuts.
