This particular tin does not retain its original, US Internal Revenue paper tax stamp, so there is no way to precisely date it. As such, we will place its age as at the first half of the 1940's- the final production years of this style tin.

Excellent, elegant circa 1940s necklace by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. Heavy for it's size, this solid liquid silver necklace is constructed of hollow silver bars over seven silver chains of variying lengths. This design is understated, and extremely rare. The shortest chain measures just under 15" in length. The necklace is authentic and bears Spratling's circa 1940s stamp. Excellent vintage condition.
Vintage lithographed tin Halloween pan noisemaker, decorated in green, black, white and orange. The decorations include a witch, a ghost and a skeleton around a cauldron. The edges are decorated with jack o'lanterns, owls, bats and black cats. Marked "US Metal Toy Mfg. Co. Made In U.S.A." Very nice condition, some scratching where metal clappers hit against pan, very light rust on the unpainted clappers. Circa 1940s. 7-7/8" long.

This circular box is lacquered in brownish black with mother of pearl inlay encircling the lid which is well-fitted to the bottom box. The top is painted in slightly-raised gilt lacquer with two characters: “fu” and “shou,” for happiness and longevity.
