A Chinese Bronze Censer figure of buffalo and the figurine, Qing Dynasty. The figure of buffalo length approximately 12.6 cm and height approximately 7 cm. This little guy is adorable. The pin is a fish done in shiny sterling silver and the body is set with inlaid abalone shell. The fish is just 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" - small and pretty much wearable on any outfit. It is in good shape, and it is marked as shown, and there is a tiny eagle mark on one fin.

This appliqué Mahakala mask was one of four decorating a ritual dancer’s cloud collar. The background silk used is a very fragile silver thread brocade possibly dating from the 13th century. This would account for the cloud collar having become fragmentary.
