Danish Modern 14k gold ring by Jens Asby, Denmark, 1960s. The looped design of the setting perfectly highlights the glowing reticulated quartz sphere. The stone is an undrilled sagenitic quartz, which is clear with black inclusions. The ring is marked with the Jens Asby hallmark, "585 CFH DENMARK HANDMADE". Very good vintage condition.

A beautiful in color, our "Queen Ann" turquoise paste necklace is set in silver and crafted of an unusual turquoise paste. Though dating to the mid 18th century, this style of jewelry was named for Queen Ann, who reigned during an earlier time, 1695 to 1714. The vivid foiled paste stones are faceted as cushion cuts. The necklace with its original fittings fastens with a black velvet ribbon. The silver closed back of the turquoise pastes are a work of art unto themselves. Exquisite.

Decorated around the sides in shades of blue and white enamel with flower heads on mint green scrolling foliage, the flattened cover is similarly decorated and surmounted by a leaf form knop. Circa 1965 red free form metal sculpture on a black wooden base by George Curtis (1923-2010). Curtis developed a unique way of creating freedom as opposed to formal structure sculptures. Using a 5 gallon pail filled with water and potatoes, he would melt scrap aluminum and pour it into the pail. The result was an unvisualized form that humans have never seen before, a representation of the shape of spaces and caverns between objects. Measures 15" high.

Korean Koryo Dynasty Celadon Glazed Stoneware Bowl (AD 918 - 1392)
This stoneware bowl was made during the Koryo Dynasty (AD 918 - 1392). It is glazed all over in quite a thick and finely-crackled celadon glaze. There are "spur" marks within the glaze from firing spacers to the centre of the bowl as well as around the outside of the foot.
