Popowski was a European jewish emigre who fled Europe to Cuba in the late 1930s, and left Cuba for Mexico in the late 1940s. She lived and worked in Taxco in the 1950s to early 1960s and designed jewelry for Los Castillo, Antonio Pineda, and later for herself in her own studio. ...
