Chinese silver censer, ca 1910. Drum-form agate body set in silver gilt mounts with scrollwork and lunettes. Leaf-capped side bracket handles. Upward tapering support and stepped foot with fretwork brackets. Cover raised with pierced scrollwork borders bud finial with leaf brackets on solid central mount with scrolls and fan. Silver gilt and heightened with blue, green, and red enamel. Marked “Silver”. Very good condition.

George V sterling silver and pink guilloche enamel vanity set. Made by Charles S. Green & Co., Ltd in Birmingham in 1927-8. This set comprises 4 pieces: Hand mirror, hairbrush, clothes brush, and button hook. Mirror and hairbrush have armorial backs and tapering and fluted silver handles with vasiform finials. Button hook handle tapering. Clothes brush tubular. Enamel has wavy and radiating pattern with leafing scroll borders and pendant garlands.

Each: Tapering hexagonal body on raised foot. Handles high-looping stained-wood. Covers stepped with stained-wood finial (pot covers side-hinged). Spouts v-form. Tray has oval well with tapering sides and flat shoulder. Fashionable geometric forms from postwar Mitteleuropa.

Pre-1922 marks. Excellent condition. Teapot handle has minor irregularity.

Set of 4 Southeast Asian export silver compotes, ca 1920. Each: Shallow bowl with pierced and chased birds and flowers. Enameled rim with raised scallops interspersed with berries and leaves. Support has ribbed knop. Foot raised with applied foliate medallions with polychrome enamel. Foot rim encircled with animals scurrying along leafing branch (also applied). Striking and unusual.
