Beaded Block was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1927 to about 1930. Pieces in this pattern are difficult to find and eagerly scooped up by collectors when they do surface. A 6 inch diameter signed Galle bowl on which the rim is rolled inward to give the bowl 3 lobes.. The dark red overlay of fuschia blossoms and leaves is laid on a nearly colorless ground with a satin finish. The bowl is 3 inches deep and has a ground pontil.
