For sale here is a RARE and superb vintage 1970s handmade enamel on bronze modernist bowl / artwork designed by Gio Ponti and executed by the four artists known as the Studio del Campo. Studio Del Campo in Turin, Italy (1957-1998), was a collaborative name shared by craftsmen-artists Virgilio Bari, Euclide Chiambretti, Lidia Lanfranconi, and Bianca Tuninetto. Stylish and jokey sterling silver cabbage head sauce bowl and ladle. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Domed cover set in bowl, both comprising overlapping leaves with realistic veins and irregularities. Beautiful German sterling silver swan bowl with rare glass liner. A nice-sized bird with twisting s-scroll neck, closed bill, and direct expression. Gently protuberant haunches and webbed feet in glide mode. Fine delineation of feathers from scaly neck to downy wing plumes. Liner is frosted with scalloped rim. Crafted in his favored 940 silver it measures 1" wide and weighs an impressive 108.1 grams. Secure clasp and attached safety chain. Hallmarked with the joined HA, 940, Taxco and the eagle stamp 9.
