Confirmed unsigned Chanel necklace circa 1960 or 1970; I recently saw this same necklace with a Chanel hang tag with just the name in block lettering (no
season numbers or copyright symbols), which dates it to 1970 or prior. I had previously listed this necklace as a probable Chanel. Designed in the Indian
moghul style which was one of Chanel's main influences, with red and green Gripoix poured glass beads simulating carved rubies and emeralds, and dark

Fine & Rare Chinese Warring States Pottery Duck with Oxford TL Test
This very rare pottery model of a duck was made during the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). It is "heavily-potted" and made from quite a high-fired grey pottery. The duck stands with its neck and wings stretched, as if in the act of preparing to fly. Note the detail, especially to the wings, with the tiger heads. The style and decoration suggest this model was based on a bronze example. On the surface in places are the ...

The only authentic 19th Century Korean shaman paintings offered for sale. Sublimely rendered here is the spirit of divine response, Kameung Sillyeong. There are many 20th century reproductions of these types of paintings. Authentic Joseon Dynasty examples like this exist only in museums. And even in museums, a pair like this is very rare. You can discern them by the material and quality, such as fine hand-woven silk and mineral pigments that give warmth and depth and are vivid but not garish lik...
