Hinged and domed cover with vasiform finial leaf thumb rest. Capped s-scroll handle. Open bottom. Detachable cobalt glass liner. Fully marked. Very good condition. Glass has a few rim chips.

Pretty Edwardian inkwell. Made by Foster & Bailey in Providence, ca 1910. Rectangular clear glass base with chamfered corners, wraparound acid-etched garland, and star cut to underside. Ovalish well with short neck in sterling silver collar with hinged and domed cover. Cover top has enameled flower basket and garland on white wavy and chevron ground with ornamental blue lunettes. Fully marked. Very good condition with strong color.

George II sterling silver mug. Made by Samuel Welles in London in 1759. Baluster bowl with leaf-capped double-scroll handle. Raised foot with tooled leaf border. Chased and engraved bucolic scene with hounds racing through an orchard. A later Victorian homage to the tranquility of rural life. An even later engraved presentation in the frame formed by the leafing, overhanging trees: “Palm Beach Golf Club / Florida / State Championship / 1916 / First Prize / Runner Up / Won By”. Globular bowl with foot ring, drum-form neck, lip spout, and c-scroll handle with engraved leaf-cap and bold scroll and leaf terminal. Repousse rinceaux band. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 6462 (first produced in 1881), and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.

Fully marked. Excellent condition.

Large Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver basket. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1907. Bowl has solid center with engraved leaves and tendrils, surrounded by pierced interlaced scroll and leaf pattern heightened with engraving. Rim has molded c-scrolls interspersed with scallop shells.
