Pointed ovoid terminal with stylized leaf and scroll ornament mounted to round stem with reeded bands set in leaf mount; bowl round and gilt with ornamental piercing and pointed spout. A nice piece in a hard-to-find Aesthetic pattern. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (Bachelders & Co.) stamps. Very good condition.

Victorian Classical sterling silver baby cup. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1888. Straight sides and lobed bracket handle with reeded bands. Stylized ornament: Scrolled frame surrounded by scrolls, leaves, flowers, and a couple hovering insects. Butler finish. Mouth rim has egg-and-dart border. At bottom cast low-relief rinceaux band between reeded borders. Gilt-washed interior. Interlaced script monogram. Full marked including maker’s stamp, date symbol, and no. 3875. Very good condition.

Edwardian Classical sterling silver vanity pair. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1900. This pair comprises hand mirror and hairbrush. Mirror has round scalloped frame and the brush has shaped oval frame. Embossed ornament with chubby, naked cherubs frolicking with a dolphin (mirror) and holding overhead a fruit basket (brush). Scroll and flower borders with masks. Frothy and frivolous. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and nos. C475 (mirror) and C1502 (brush). Very good condition.

Pair of Neoclassical-style gilt sterling silver tea urns. Each: Ovoid bowl on raised foot mounted to round base. Cover domed with knopped top terminating in bud finial. Swags and acanthus leaves as well as beading and leaf and dart. Fluted spout with carved leaf twist tap (one in black and one in white). Traditional vessels revved up with scaly and entwined snake handles. One marked “Sterling Silver” and the other marked “Sterling”. Very good condition with rich color.

Ladle has branch handle and leaf bowl. Clear glass liner. Ladle marked “Buccellati Italy Sterling”. Bowl has post-1967 mark (26 MI) with “Buccellati / Italy / Sterling” and “925 [in oval]”. Beautiful German sterling silver swan bowl with rare glass liner. A nice-sized bird with twisting s-scroll neck, closed bill, and direct expression. Gently protuberant haunches and webbed feet in glide mode. Fine delineation of feathers from scaly neck to downy wing plumes. Liner is frosted with scalloped rim. Silver marked “Sterling 925 Fine / Germany” with stamp for Israel Freeman & Son Ltd in London. Very good condition.
