Beautiful German sterling silver swan bowl with rare glass liner. A nice-sized bird with twisting s-scroll neck, closed bill, and direct expression. Gently protuberant haunches and webbed feet in glide mode. Fine delineation of feathers from scaly neck to downy wing plumes. Liner is frosted with scalloped rim. Silver marked “Sterling 925 Fine / Germany” with stamp for Israel Freeman & Son Ltd in London. Very good condition.

American Edwardian Regency sterling silver centerpiece bowl, ca 1910. Deep and tapering bowl, and turned-down, pierced, and scrolled rim with garlands, leaves, and flower-inset pelta shields. Foot raised with engraved leafing scrolls and flowers. Fully marked including Black, Starr & Frost stamp, phrase “Exclusive Design”, and no. 3559. Very good condition with deep patina.

German 800 silver and glass vase, ca 1910. Tapering trumpet-form in clear glass with acid-etched wreaths, scrolls, and flowers. At top pierced and chased 800 silver mount with cherubs, flowers, and scrolls. Detachable 800 silver base with spread foot with scrolled cartouches (vacant). Same ornament. Silver fully marked including Hanau maker’s stamp for Storck & Sinsheimer. Very good condition with deep patina.

Bowl: Curved and steeply tapering with turned-down rim and domed foot. Plateau: Octagonal and domed on corner bracket supports. Curvilinear frames and Adams-style ornament in form of garlands, beribboned wreaths, scallop shells, and volute pilasters. Bowl has loose-mounted wreath rings. A sumptuous adaptation of late 18th-century design.
