Sterling silver mouth with plumy wings and graceful s-scroll neck and head with penetrating gaze and long and closed bill. Both marked “Sterling 3”. One has Shreve & Co. stamp and the other has William B. Durgin stamp. Excellent condition.

German 800 silver and glass decanter, ca 1910. Flat and round bowl with cylindrical neck. Double-sided acid-etched landscapes with picturesque windmills, bridges, and houses. At bottom 800 silver mount with pierced and chased scrollwork, as well as musicians and colonnade. Silver neck collar. Silver ball stopper with figural finial in form of water carrier; clear glass plug. Marks possibly for Wolf & Knell in Hanau. Good condition with deep patina. Plug sanded down on one side.

Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau 800 silver and malachite centerpiece bowl. Made by Bruckmann & Söhne in Germany. Shallow bowl with curved sides and wavy rim. Sides exterior have cabochon malachite medallions alternating with plain silver ones. Bowl center has open ball-topped baluster. Bowl rests on four tapering columns with round solid base. Chased fluid leafy scrollwork, as well as leaf-and-dart border on base. An exuberant show-stopper. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Bowl: Curved and steeply tapering with turned-down rim and domed foot. Plateau: Octagonal and domed on corner bracket supports. Curvilinear frames and Adams-style ornament in form of garlands, beribboned wreaths, scallop shells, and volute pilasters. Bowl has loose-mounted wreath rings. A sumptuous adaptation of late 18th-century design.

Exterior has applied and acid-etched ornament heightened with gilding and engraving: Leafing branches with pendant gourds and tendrils.
