It is blown, rib optic glass with subtle curves extending to the cut and finished rim. The combs made out of tsuge wood has been known to be gentle on the hair and scalp without causing static. They were treasured by the women and men for many, many centuries. A pine needle pattern Tiffany Studios large round inkwell. The inkwell is 6 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches high. The base of the inkwell is marked “Tiffany Studios New York” and is model number 847. The green slag glass has the darkest color I have seen in any of the Tiffany Studios etched metal and glass forms. There is a colorless inkwell insert in the inkwell and there is no damage to this piece.
