Japonesque mixed metal on sterling silver bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1881. Curved sides, molded rim, and foot rim. On exterior are applied vegetation rooted in granulated soil, a stray dragonfly, and solitary fisherman who has hooked a fish. Fully marked with maker’s stamp and “Sterling / 385 / N / & Other Metals”. Very good condition.

This William Spratling Mexican Silver Bracelet is from his first design period 1931-1946 and consider one of his most iconic designs. It measures 7 1/4" long by 1" wide and weighs 70.6 grams of sterling silver. Hallmarked with the WS mono, Spratling Made in Mexico, and Spratling Silver. It is in good vintage condition with some light wear, tarnish, and has developed a lovely patina. Early style pin closure and attached safety chain. A great vintage bracelet for any collector.

This iconic bracelet by the famous William Spratling is from his 1st design period and features braided bands of silver and copper at the center between two silver bands and wide end pieces of silver with an incised design.
