Art Deco sterling silver novelty camel flask. Made by R. Blackinton & Co. in North Attleboro, Mass., ca 1930. Rectilinear and gently curved; cover hinged and cork-lined. On front, in black enamel is a drooping dromedary. On back, the beast is revived, standing tall with head raised. A powerful testimony to the benefits of rehydration. Art Deco sterling silver cigar set. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1920. This set comprises, tray, lighter, and 6 ashtrays. Tray rectangular with rounded corners and flat rim. Two central wells of which one rectangular for ashtrays and one round for lighter. Lighter round and bellied with high-looping side handles and hinged and tubular wick cover. Ashtrays rectangular with tapering sides. Acid-etched rinceaux ornament. From the era when a thoughtful host supplied tobacco.
