Very unusual 1900-1920s (late Meiji - early Taisho) Japanese ceramic Oribe ware scroll weight in a form of a tidal rock painted with a crab crawling to reach a seaweed jalf covering the rock. Veryclever design, characteristic Oribe green and brown colors.
