Made from a type of plastic (possibly celluloid) with delicate hand painted features, dressed in a detailed regional costume of Bretagne (Brittany). A pine needle pattern Tiffany Studios large round inkwell. The inkwell is 6 inches in diameter and 3 1/4 inches high. The base of the inkwell is marked “Tiffany Studios New York” and is model number 847. The green slag glass has the darkest color I have seen in any of the Tiffany Studios etched metal and glass forms. There is a colorless inkwell insert in the inkwell and there is no damage to this piece.
