Ovoid crystal bowl with cut and engraved ornament: Beaded horse shoe in curvilinear strapwork frame, and stylized thistles. Sterling silver helmet mouth in shaped mount with raised grain heads and entwined tendrils; high-looping reeded handle. Flattened ball stopper with same and short clear glass plug. Concave neck and turned-down leaf-and-dart rim. Leaf-capped and -wrapped side handles with oak branch mounts. Edwardian Classical sterling silver gravy boat on stand. Made by Dominick & Haff in New York in 1907. Boat has helmet mouth, leaf-capped high-looping handle, and 3 leaf-mounted scroll supports. Stand has oval well. Turned-down and irregular scrolled rims with chased leafing scrolls and applied scallop shells. Engraved interlaced script monograms. Fully marked including dated maker’s stamp, retailer’s (Bigelow, Kennard) stamp, and no. 2340. Very good condition.

Edwardian Art Nouveau vanity jar. Made by Foster & Bailey in Providence, ca 1910. Crystal with curved sides and short inset neck. Cut geometric ornament and stylized flower band; star on underside. Cover sterling silver; top curved with enameled ornament: Pink and blue flowers on radiating white ground bordered by pink guilloche wave ornament. Cover marked. Very good condition.

Applied and chased irises with floppy, irregular petals and reeded tendrils rooted in eddying water as well as baskets and wood staves; hand-hammered ground. Cover top has same and sides have engraved fretwork border. Large with big and bold ornament. Gorgeous Meiji Art Nouveau for the cosmopolitan West. Marked. Very good condition with nice patina.
