Beautiful 6 inch tall blue Aurene ruffled rim compote with a twist stem. The compote has a 6 inch diameter bowl with onion skin stretched rim. The compote is signed “Aurene 367" around the polished pontil.
A fine Steuben Blue Aurene vase approximately 8" h. Very good to excellent condition with an occasional dark spot indicative of age. The underside is marked Steuben which is common for end of Carder era pieces. Much Steuben was unsigned.

Scarce gold Aurene footed 2 pillar mold bowl, shape 7307. The bowl is 6.5 inches tall and 8 inches wide. The pontil is polished and the foot is signed with an engraved Steuben mark such as is shown in Dimitroff “Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass” on page 232, figure 10.70.
This beautiful Dr. Wall period Worcester soft paste porcelain compote is a large early piece with fancy birds decoration and blue border. Its probably from the Giles workshop.

Mask made of kiri (Paulownia) wood, showing the wide-laughing and dimpled face of god of good fortune (shichifukujin), Daikoku. The base of his hat just sitting on the top of his head.
The broad grain of the wood was used to accentuate the round cheeks, nose and nostrils. The wood was formerly stained with a reddish-brown color, now almost completely worn off. Around the eyes there are remnants of a light-colored pigment.

A Kangxi period very large baluster- shaped jar and cover, decorated in blue and white with the body showing 36 panels each enclosing a composition of butterflies amongst leafy peony sprays. The borders also reflect a floral image whilst the cover repeats the themes of the panels.
This impressive example is of monumental size 57cm (22 and 1/2 inches) high and boasts a vibrant and even blue colour and meticulous painting .
